State Commissioner

My love for Guiding first began many years ago when I joined Brownies and continued through the movement from there. I also spent some time in the Scout’s as a Rover before returning to Guides as a State Representative on the GGT Board.

My career experience is in events, marketing and the childcare sectors. I have a passion for choral singing and enjoy reading, travel and tentative gardening.

I have a lifelong love of Guides and believe it is incredibly beneficial for women from childhood to adulthood.   A worldwide movement, Guides has benefited me and many thousands of others and my role as Commissioner is an opportunity to support and develop this outstanding organisation.  To learn and fail in a safe environment, to make great friendships and acquire extraordinary memories.  My own journey and experiences gained through childhood and leadership roles continues to motivate me to pass on these opportunities to others.

Yours in Guiding
