Mullala 2018

Mullala (an aboriginal word meaning ‘little sister’) is a State event held for Guides up to the age of 10 years, giving girls the chance to get together, make new friends and have fun. This year, our theme is Science is Magic and we are organising three smaller events so that as many girls as possible are able to be involved.
In a nutshell: Science is Magic – The Sweet Witch is helping the Minions to move from the past to the present through a number of time portals where important science breakthroughs happened – girls do things linked with sewing needles, fire, wheels, rope, tools, magnets, electricity, elastic, transport, buildings, electronics. Can you imagine our lives if none of these things had been invented? The event finishes with a racing wide game, making good turn beads and a singalong.
