First Aid Training

The course we offer is Provide First Aid. It is suitable for all members aged 16 years or more, to provide the skills for unit meeting first aid, outdoor activities and including camping. 
Please make sure before registering for this event you contact Anna Branch via email [email protected] to express your interest. Anyone can attend but spaces are limited and priority will be given to Guide Leaders.


On the day you need to bring the following:

  1. USI Number – No USI No 1st Aid certificate. St John Ambulance rules (google USI if you need to get a number)
  2. Completed Enrolment form – it will be sent to you after you apply.
  3. Wear comfortable clothes and sensible shoes.
  4. Your lunch and morning tea.
  5. Something to drink.
  6. $70 either in cash or a cheque made out to:  Girl Guides Tasmania or paid online.
  7. Note paper and pen/pencil – depending on how you learn

 

You also need to complete the online course before the training day – either print off your certificate or create a screen shot of the certificate.  Below is the email link:

A CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES TASMANIA

  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Tasmania, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
